About The Cuppa Cakery

Tanya, Cake Designer and Owner

As a child, Tanya was a passionate home-baker who always loved baking cakes, and in 2012 realised her dream and set up The Cuppa Cakery. Tanya started by baking cupcakes from her small home kitchen in the centre of Bristol. Still, such was her early success that she soon turned her design talents into wedding cakes.

Tanya has trained with the award-winning cake designer Peggy Porschen and the renowned French patissier Eric Lanlard. She also draws upon her BA Hons Degree in Art and Education to help her design bespoke wedding cakes for her clients.

Tanya lives in the Cornwall countryside with her husband Richard and their young son's Walter and Albert.
